Dissolve the entire 21.8 g sachet in 1 litre of clean drinking water. Do not add extra sugar or salt.

• Stir until dissolved.
• Use only the recommended amount of water.
• Do not add extra sugar or salt.
• Do not boil the solution after preparation.
• Use the prepared solution promptly.
• Any unused prepared solution may be refrigerated for no longer than 24 hours; otherwise discard it.
• For infants, the manufacturer directs that the water should first be boiled and then cooled before preparation.

Use Electral according to the pack instructions and at the recommended dilution.

• Seek medical care for severe dehydration.
• Medical supervision is appropriate if diarrhoea or vomiting is severe or persistent.
• Seek advice if the person cannot drink or retain oral fluids.
• Extra caution is required with renal disease.
• Do not use oral treatment in intestinal obstruction.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 24–48 hours.
• People with diabetes should account for the glucose content.

Store the unopened sachet protected from moisture.

• Prepare only with clean drinking water.
• After reconstitution, use promptly.
• Refrigerated prepared solution should not be retained beyond 24 hours.
• Discard unused solution after that period.
