How we write and review

Every article on Learn is written from primary sources and checked against them before it is published.

Where our facts come from

We use primary sources. These are Indian government guidelines and data, such as ICMR-NIN's dietary guidelines and the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines. They are also clinical guidelines, such as NICE's, and research published in peer-reviewed journals. We do not use news stories or drug company material as sources.

Every figure is cited to its source, with the page or table, in the source list below each article.

How we check

Before we write, we copy each fact from its source into a record, with the exact words and the page. We write only from that record. Then every sentence is checked against it, and a fact the record cannot support is cut.

Who reviews

Articles about food and everyday health are checked by our editorial team. We are adding a physician review to each article. When an article has one, it names the doctor who reviewed it and the date. An article that names a medicine is not published until a physician has reviewed it.

How we use AI

AI tools help us find sources, draft text and check each sentence against its source. A person on our team approves every article before it is published, and no AI approves medical content. Some illustrations are made with AI, and the site says so.

What our articles are for

They explain, so you can make better decisions with your doctor. They do not replace a consultation, and they never promise a result.

If you find a mistake

Write to contact@kilocare.in. We check it against the source, correct the article and update its date.
